The Silensor Pro variable speed pump gives you total control of the operating speed, from 1500rpm up to 3600rpm with a backwash cycle that runs the pump at 3800rpm for 2 minutes before stopping. It is silent because the engine noise is largely absorbed by the water which cools it. The system does not need air circulation to operate so no noisy fan. The Silensor consumes about half the energy of the most popular pump for the same flow rates. The engine gives the heat it produces to the pool water.
