About Us
Sparkling Pools & Spas is still the trusted family business you’ve known for years. In 1982 Barry Dickson was running a construction business that he started with his wife (aka his better half) Lee. After their daughter Lisa finished school, the idea of opening a small business arose and that’s when Sparkling Pools & Spas was born! Back in 2017, you may have noticed the sign over the door change from SPAS to SIMA.
Though Lisa’s team no longer provides pool installation or service, we are still Sparkling Pools & Spas. Lisa still owns and runs the company but rebranded the business to SIMA to ensure she carries the best products at very competitive pricing.
Lisa keeps her business offerings current by attending several industry conferences; her product knowledge, from pools & spas to the chemicals required to optimize your investment, is second to none. She can answer any question you can throw at her and is not afraid to get her hands dirty. In her own words, there is only one type of customer…a satisfied one.
